Why Natural Sciences?

I’ve always been fascinated by how the world works and how we can’t see reactions and molecules with the naked eye but we can still understand what is happening and then modify and use this knowledge to understand the bigger pictures of the universe.

Why Cambridge?

When I first came to Cambridge, around 15 years ago, I completely fell in love with it. Its atmosphere and architecture is unrivalled by anywhere else I’ve ever been and I knew then that I wanted to study here – at the same place where 96 Nobel Prize winners also studied.

Beyond the boat..

Before I began coxing I did fencing and still occasionally pick up my sword! I also like to sing, play the ‘Cello, listen to Bach and drink first flush Darjeeling… in no particular order.

This is my 6th year as a cox and have always been inspired by the crews that I have been apart of who have motivated me to keep improving. I feel immensely privileged to be a part of the whole Boat Race experience and I am looking forward to the squad developing towards April.
