CUWBC Announces Crews for Henley Women’s Regatta

Cambridge University Women’s Boat Club (CUWBC) has 21 students racing in 10 different boats at Henley Women’s Regatta this weekend.

The Regatta which is held over a 1500m stretch of the famous Henley course is the premier regatta for women in the United Kingdom.

Many of the crews will begin their racing with a time trial on Friday morning with side-by-side racing starting at 13:30. CUWBC’s Championship Double sculls will face Exeter University and Reading University in their first rounds.

Paula Wesselmann (Jesus) and Emma Andrews (Pembroke) will race in the Championship Double Sculls.

Meanwhile, in Linz, Austria, 2 members of the 2017 CUWBC will be racing as part of the British Rowing Team at the 2nd World Cup. Melissa Wilson will race in the Quadruple Scull and Holly Hill in the Eight.
