Henley Boat Race Brunch, Sunday 24th March 2013

Henley Boat Race Brunch, Sunday 24th March 2013

On behalf of the CUWBC Alumni Association, we cordially invite you to the pre-Henley Boat Races brunch, on Sunday 24th March from 10.15am onwards.

Given we were at capacity in Leander last year (with additional demand), this time we’re trying something a bit different and a bit more fun! We’ve chartered “The New Orleans”, a passenger boat in the style of a Mississippi sternwheeler, and will be having brunch on board. If river conditions allow, we’ll take a trip up to the course finish and back (don’t worry, we’ll be moored in plenty time for you to all get back on to the course ready for the racing!) Brunch will include both hot and cold options (including vegetarian choices). Tickets are £30, or £35 if you would like a glass of Prosecco included.

We encourage alumni from the 2003 and 1993 boat races to think about having a crew reunion; and for the rest, it’s just a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and coaches.

Below you will find a provisional timetable for the day, and further information around logistics.

Please either RSVP by Friday 15th March via email to julie@cuwbc.org.uk including your Name, College & Year of Race, the number of tickets you require, and any dietry requirements.  (please note that capacity is limited, so reply quickly to reserve your place!) Please send a cheque payable to CUWBC to Julie Hogg at The Goldie Boathouse, Kimberley Road, Cambridge, CB4 1HG. or if you would rather pay by online transfer, please ask julie for details.
