Pull Together for Project Ely – Building a Boathouse for the future of Cambridge University rowing.

The new purpose built boathouse for Cambridge University rowing is under construction and due to the generosity of alumni and friends of Light Blue rowers, the building is off the ground.

This boathouse represents a new future for the University Boat Clubs – we are Pulling Together to recognize the 2016 Squad on the Ely Boathouse wall. Thank you to the generous donors who have helped us to reach 28% of our £10,000target – we are so nearly there.

Make a Gift to see them immortalized on the wall – our present and future, working together towards one goal!

What poise, what heroic effort light blue boat! Ladies, very proud of you today. As far as I am concerned, you won when you refused to bail out. Wished it had been different, but none the less very proud to be associated with Cambridge rowing and the light blue boat.

I echo Toyin’s comment. You Ladies are amazing! The true winners of the Boat Race! We cheered and cried with you here in Palm City, Florida (Treasure Coast Rowing Club). Inspirational! What team work! What dedication! Way to pull together. The 2016 race will always be remembered by your performance and perseverance!
